Jesu was on my radar for long time ,finally i could find their demo :Opiate sun which was acceptable but not outstanding.
The sense and atmosphere of their music is bleak-melancholic with distorted crunchy guitar riffs and clean vocals;an experimental-rock sound we can call.
Justin Broadrick singing style is pefectly fit for the music.The lyrics are simple but at the same time sophisticated.something comparable to Isis or my favorite band Minsk.
I guess it's soon to make fair judgement about the band ; i'll give a 6/10 score to this post-metal/industrial album.I'm going to give their 2007album Conquerer a try.
