There's an interesting aspect ;subcultures ,minorities are recognized ,respected and given chance to settle down.
It's a free competitive market. A natural selection .If you've got potentials to survive you'll be integrated into the main stream.

how to treat this aggressive ideology,doing a criminal act in your soil,killing thousands of innocent people...
I think 9/11 was a though test but eventually expanded the limits of tolerance, and hopefully brought a new horizon of immunity and peace. Blind extremism will gradually turn out to be a rude and ineffectual game in the context of human civilization.
Now the souls deepen their belief in common humanistic values.
United States always put aside the ethnic and religious differences and offered its majestic weapon:
