Owen's Return ?

The surgeon of Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has indicated that the former Bayern Munich player could return to Premier League action againstWest Brom on Saturday.
Dr Richard Steadman, who also famously operated on Ruud van Nistelrooy, has been treating the midfielder for the best part of two years after he was struck down with an acute form of tendonitis.
The former Bayern man looked to be back on track towards the end of last season but two operations and an extended period of rehabilitation didn't appear to solve the problem, as Hargreaves reported disconfort in the knee joint after returning to Premier League action as an injury time substitute.
Steadman, however, is now confident that Hargreaves has overcome the worst of his injury problems and will now be able to play an effective part in future England and Manchester United matches.
"Owen should play some part on Saturday," Steadman toldBBC Sport.
"Our physical therapist, Luke O'Brien, has been working very closely with United's coaches on his rehab.
"It's been a long road back and there have been some setbacks along the way.
"But I've got a lot of admiration for the way Owen has responded - he's worked very hard and has never given up. Things are looking good for him now," he concluded.
